Funeral services for Glenda Ann Milstead, 70, of Lufkin will be held in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John W. Greene and Brother Mike Henson officiating. Interment will follow in the Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County. Mrs. Milstead was born July 9, 1943 in San Augustine, Texas to Bruce and Cleonia (Rhame) Pearson, and died Saturday, November 23, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. Milstead had resided in Lufkin for 47 years. She earned a Masters Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and was a Math Instructor at Angelina College. Mrs. Milstead had also taught math at Lufkin ISD, Central ISD and Huntington ISD. She was a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce E. and Janice Milstead; grandchildren, Angela Cochran, Brandon Milstead and Colton Milstead; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Nell and Eddie Grantham, and June and Jack Miller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha and Charles Lindsey; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Reba Milstead; special friends, Beth Versland, Margie Teer, Joyce Vann and Sybil Mangrum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
