Bio

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Jones and Son Chapel for Mr. Paul D. Phillips, age 79, of Seminary who died on January 12, 2015, at his residence. Rev. George Moore will officiate at the service with burial to follow in the New Fellowship Cemetery in the Rainey Community. Mr. Philllips was retired from Big Yank Corp. after 38 years. He was a cattle farmer and a two time Mississippi State Fiddling champion. He was a renowned local and regional musician. Visitation will be 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Moselle. Published in the Hattiesburg American on Jan. 14, 2015
