Son of William Patterson Guynes and Martha O. Kelly. Husband of Buelah Ada Clark, father of three. Dallas Morning News 13 Apr 1969 John O. Guynes John O. Guynes, 82, of 1310 Amity Lane, a retired carpenter, died here Saturday. He was a native of Crandall, Kaufman County, and had lived in Dallas 39 years. He was a member of Lochwood Baptist Church. Survivors: Two sons, Vernon Guynes and Bill Guynes, both of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Billie Hoffman of Trinidad, Henderson County; two brothers, Harvey Guynes of Crandall and Bud Guynes of Kaufman; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral sevices will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday in Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Chapel in Mesquite. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery in Mesquite.
