Charlene Arnice Gilbert Earnhart Charlene Arnice Gilbert Earnhart, 71, of Greenville passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Rowlett. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Clifton Cemetery under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, January 16, 2015 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Charlene was born June 18, 1943 in Greenville, Texas to Willie Warren Gilbert and Lola Belle Anderson Gilbert. She married Louis Edwin ”Ernie” Earnhart on August 29, 1969 in Durant, Oklahoma. She graduated from Miller Grove High School in 1961 as Salutatorian. Charlene worked for Southwestern Bell as a Directory Assistance Operator for 26 years and was a member of Lone Oak Assembly of God. Mrs. Earnhart is survived by her daughters Stephania Cherry of Fouke, Arkansas and Elise Bigony and Robert of Ennis, Texas; sons Jonathan Earnhart of Greenville, Texas and Russ Earnhart and wife Monica of Red Oak, Texas; brother Melvin Gilbert and wife Lois of Saint Jo, Texas; sister Mary Hodges and husband Gerald of Sherman, Texas; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 41 years Ernie Earnhart, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
