Bio

Mrs. Catherine C. Palmer-Miler was born December 21, 1865, at Akron, Ohio. When she was about two years old, her parents came to Iowa to live. She passed away at the Osceola Hospital March 1, 1930, after an illness of about two years. She was united in marriage to George W. Miler, August 13, 1888. He died April 21, 1923. To this union were born ten children, six of whom survive – Pearl Clair Miler died July 15, 1900; Almina Beal died January 20, 1920; Myrtle Milner died April 16, 1922, and Edith Moomey died April 5, 1923. Funeral services were held from the Church of Christ Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. F. Clare McCallon, and interment made in Maple Hill cemetery. The Osceola Sentinel - March 6th, 1930
