[Published: August 2, 2011 Arkansas Democrat Gazette] Florence Leona Hobson, went to meet her Savior on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Conway, AR. She was born on December 3, 1921 in Banks, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Alfred Garrison and Birdie Reeves Garrison. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Eugene Shull and her second husband, Woodrow Hobson and her daughter, Sharolyn Shull Zink, and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Mylinda "Mindy" Gillert of Maumelle, her grandson, Nathanael Ryan Gillert of Little Rock; her sister, Ocie Garrison of North Little Rock, her step-daughters, Judy Jackson and Sandra Mooney and four step-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood; burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Ark. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
