Obituary for Fred London By Owens Funeral Home Dec 30, 2014 Funeral Services for Fred London of Bailey, Texas, will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Masonic Graveside Honors. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Daniel Johnson, Mike Johnson, Dustin Pearson, Cody Furry, Jonathan London, Kyle Whitworth and Peyton Webster. Mr. London passed away at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center-Community Living Center in Bonham on Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born on Nov. 2,, 1925, in Bailey, Texas, to Volney and Ellie Bicknell London. Mr. London married Charlsie Fay Lunsford on Oct. 20, 1951 in Wolfe City. He was a retired farmer/rancher and was retired from the County of Fannin County, Texas. He was active in the masonic lodge serving as Worshipful Master, District Deputy and District Instructor. He also served in World War II in the Navy. Survivors are his wife of Bailey, three sons; Derrell London and wife Phillis of Cooper, David London and wife Marilyn of Marsing, Idaho, Jeff London and wife Christi of Bailey, one Daughter; Danna Furry of Greenville, 12 grandchildren, 21-great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Joe London, two sisters Christine Fry & Nell Graham and one daughter Gay Nell Ashley.
