Moberly Monitor-Index (Moberly, Missouri) 11 Dec 1950, Mon Page 9 Mrs. Copenhaver, 64, Dies; Funeral Here Wednesday Mrs. V. L. Copenhaver, 64, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning at her home, 423 Monroe avenue. She had been in failing health three years. Born in Monroe County, near Ash, she had lived in Moberly about 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Copenhaver is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. J.E. Doctor, Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Ed Beacom, Alton, Ill.; two sons, L. V. and William Copenhaver, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Richardson, Moberly, and Mrs. Julia Gentry, Cleveland; and seven grandchildren. The body is in the Mahan Funeral Parlors, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. Joseph P. Grant, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
