Bio

Alfred Nash, Sr., of Buna, passed away Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. A native of Rosepine, Louisiana he had lived in Buna 60 years and was a retired trackman for Santa Fe Railroad Company. Survivors include sons, Alfred Nash, Jr., James Nash, and John T. Nash and Clifford H. Nash; daughter, Agnes Faye Ashley; brother, Jack Nash; sister, Bessie Lee Wolfe; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral was Thursday at EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Morse Cemetery.
