Post Intelligencer, June 20, 1967 ARCHIE L. LAMKE, 71, died Sunday. He was born in Everett, WA and came to Seattle 60 years ago. He served in the army in World War I. He was a truck driver for Puget Sound Bridge and Dredge Company for 14 years. He retired in 1948 due to illness. He was a charter member and organizer of the Port Townsend Disabled American Veterans chapter. He was also a member of the Seattle Chapter, DAV, a member of the Veterans of World War I and of the First Lutheran Church of West Seattle. Survivors include his wife, Mamie, and a step-son, Robert W. Chamberlain, of Seattle and a sister, Mrs. Alberta Otis, Everett. Services; Wednesday, 1 p.m. West Home Chapel; Burial Forest Lawn.
