Bio

Francis Jackson Moore was the son of William F and Elizabeth (Arnold) Moore and is the eighth of ten children born to this family. Capt. John A, Amelia Caroline, James E, Susan, Mary J, Sarah E, William M C, Francis Jackson, Barclay and Anna A. Francis married Nancy A "Nonie" (Brown) 10 Aug 1865 in Rutherford Co., TN. Together they produced thirteen children. Robert B, William R L, Cora E, Oscar D, Altia M, Theodore, Ethel Sonora, Otis, Herschel G, Baby Boy (Elbert T), Artie C, Lee and Leslie. Francis was a farmer and he and Nancy moved with sons, Robert and Lee traveling by covered wagon from TN to Sugar Grove, KY about 1879. I have no record of what happened to Lee, Robert is buried in Cook Cemetery also.
