Married Jacob Kirchner who was born in the village of Buce, town of Dacice, county of Jihlava, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic). In 1892 he was a tailor in Octavia, Butler County, Nebr. Possibly a sister of Cecilia (Kovar) Sabata , who is mistakenly called her daughter in her obituary. According to the 1900 census (which calls her Jennie ) she was born May 1842 in Bohemia, had been married 34 years, emigrated to the United States in 1880, was the mother of 12 children, 9 alive, and lived in Brainard with her husband Jacob Kirchner, born July 1835 in Bohemia, emigrated 1880, and their two daughters, Emma, born May 1884 in Nebr. and Daisy, born January 1888 in Nebr. Mrs. Kirchner who was eighty-eight years of age was a resident of Brainard for many years prior to moving to Omaha with the Donat family about five years ago.
