"Arlene Mae Jansa, 84, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Weston, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 12, 2014, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born on September 15, 1930 in Weston to Albin and Bessie (Blazek) Kucera. Arlene graduated from Weston High School. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Arlene loved to cross-stitch and she always loved spending time with her family. She is survived by son, Glenn Jansa of Ontario, Canada; daughter, Marla (Roger Novacek) Roberts of Lincoln; grandson, Garret Roberts; sister-in-law, Joyce Kucera; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Allan Jansa; parents; brother, Donnie Kucera; and daughter-in-law, Betty Jansa. Per Arlene's wishes her body was donated to science. Memorial Mass: Tues., 10 a.m., St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Weston. Rosary, Tues. 9:30 a.m. at the Church. Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
