Wife of John M Holkcome. Dallas Morning News 17 Dec 1947 HOLKCOME-Mrs. Ella, age 74, passed away Tuesday, residence, 2827 Carpenter. Survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. B. Langley, Grand Saline; Mrs. J. B. Fortune and Mrs. O. L. Grizzle, both of Dallas; stepdaughter, Mrs. M. E. Hudgins, Dallas; sister Mrs. Mattie Florence, Irving, Texas; brother, W. H. Parker, Greenville; four grandchildren. Chapel services Wednesday, 3 P.M., Rev. D. B. Russell officiating. Interment Long Creek Cemetery, Arrangementswith Suggs Funeral Home.
