Bio
Victor Ziegler, 78, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014, in Myrtle Cemetery. Victor was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Victor and Ola Lucille (Collins) Ziegler. He grew up in San Antonio, graduated from high school there, and went on to attend college. On July 20, 1964, Victor married Irene Wilhoite. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He worked for Bell Helicopter as a machinist. Victor was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ziegler, on November 2, 2010; step-son, Durward Holt; and help-brother, William Bettcher. Survivors include his daughters, Lucy Craig and Roxanne Allen; step-sons: Alvin Holt, Ralph Holt and Gary Holt; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and step-sisters, Linda Answorth and Allene Perskins.
