HEREFORD - Jane Rucker, 89, formerly of Hereford, died Monday, April 3, 2006, in Woodward, Okla. Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. today in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Cliff and the Rev. Harlan Resch officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Mrs. Rucker was born March 5, 1917, in Littlefield, the daughter of Jack and Nora Williams. She married Clay Rucker. Mrs. Rucker was a retired seamstress, having owned and operated the Farwell Manufacturing Sewing Factory in Farwell. She was a member of the Church of God in Dimmitt. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include two sisters, Edith Mayberry and June Davis, both of Hereford. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
