Herald Coaster, August 31, 1994: Funeral services for Mary Lee Hrncir, 83, of Rosenberg, will be Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. A rosary service will be Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry (FM 2218 & Highway 59), Rosenberg. Father Dan Warden will officiate the services. Mary Lee Hrncir was born March 17, 1911 in Moravia, Lavaca County. She passed away Aug. 29 in Houston. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, SPJST, and KJZT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus B. Hrncir, and parents, Frank and Mary Cervenka. She is survived by daughter, Mary Ann Stokes of Rosenberg; sons, Gus F. Hrncir, Sr. and wife, Nancy, of Stafford; grandsons, Gus F. Hrncir, Jr. of Austin and Bob Stokes of Kansas City, Mo. Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry (FM 2218 & Highway 59), Rosenberg, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. 341-8800.
