Daily Journal Jan.11, 1993 3REENWOOD Arthur Harold Board Jr. Arthur Harold Board Jr. 67, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at Indiana University Medical Center. He was a resident of Greenwood. He was born Dec. 16,1933, In Stinesville. His father was Arthur Haroldt Board Sr. His mother is Lucille (Smith) Board of Whiteland. He married Nancy Meyer on March 21, 1964, in Franklin. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Jeffrey Board of Indianapolis; a daughter, Kimberly Heeg of Plainfield; a sister, Doris Adams of Whiteland; and two nephews. He was a 1962 graduate of Franklin College. He then received his master's degree from Indiana University. He was employed for 34 years at Isom Elementary School as a sixth-grade teacher and then as principal, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Franklin Nazarene Church and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. For more than 30 years, he operated a taxidermy business from his home. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. A service will be conducted at lO a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Entombment Will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
