Nadine M. Herl, 74, Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday, October 29, 1999, at her home. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 103rd & King, Overland Park; entombment in Prince of Peace Mausoleum, Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Friends may call 6-7 p.m. Monday at the Park Lawn Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Memorial Fund. Mrs. Herl was born July 18, 1925, in Kettle Island, KY, and had lived in this area most of her life. She was the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics several years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Elmer J. Herl, in February 1999. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Stephen Barthol, Leawood, KS; a brother, William Cox, Louisville, KY; two sisters, Ruby Pease, Lee's Summit, MO, and Christine Smith, Louisville, KY; and three grandchildren, Lauren, Stephen and Joseph Barthol.
