James Edward "Jimmy" Jenkins U.S. Veteran Graveside services for James Edward “Jimmy” Jenkins, 72, of Tyler will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County with Reverend Michael Fleming officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Jenkins passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Mr. Jenkins was born March 31, 1942 in Hamlin, TX, to Claude and Edrene Reynolds Jenkins. He was a service technician for Sears and Roebuck, veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his daughter, Brandilyn Kelly and husband Todd of Troup; brothers, Ennis Jenkins and wife Francis of Forney and Stanley Jenkins and wife Tish of Gilmer; grandchildren, Lauren Kelly, Morgan Kelly and Bristol Kelly; nieces and nephews, Denise Cromley and husband Robert, Beverly Smith and husband Terry, Jerry Jenkins and wife, Terri and Angela Jenkins Norton. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Jenkins. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas.
