Bio

Wes Svoboda passed away Thursday, May 8, 2003, at the McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 81 years. Mr. Svoboda is survived by his wife, Billie Louise Svoboda of Canyon Lake; one brother, Victor Svoboda and wife, Evelyn, of Shiner, Texas; two nephews, Larry Taylor and Morris Novak; four nieces, Joan Bott, Linda Vaslovik, Anna Sloan and Margaret Ann Hamilton. Mr. Svoboda was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2003, at the Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2003. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the Zoeller Funeral Home. A Mass of celebration will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Fischer Cemetery in Fischer, Texas.
