AKA: Mary Christensen Hopkins Elliott RICHFIELD - Mrs. Mary Christensen Hopkins Elliott, 73, died at her home in Richfield Sept. 20, at 12:30 a.m. of apoplexy following a tree-day illness. Mrs. Elliott was born in Denmark Aug.22, 1872, a daughter of Soren and Mary Brown Christensen. Her first husband died 16 years ago. She was married to Alec F. Elliott on April 28, 1930, at Salt Lake City. She was a member of the LDS church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harold Simonsen, Richfield; one son, Kenneth Hopkins, Westwood, Calif.; two brothers, Martines and James Christensen, Richfield; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Third Ward Chapel. Salt Lake Tribune 21 September 1945
