Born to Joseph Carey Gauntt (3/1847-1918) & Cynthia Louisa Annice Arnett Gauntt (1/1852-1928), both of Alabama, who married in 1867. Lena married 1) Jesse Lane (1871-1949) about 1895. They later divorced. Children: • Hester Obedience Lane Bumpass Walls (1896-1972) • Pearl Annis Lane Jones Kelley (1900-1989) • Vennie Lane Link • Alton Carey "A.C." Lane (1904-1975) Lena married 2) ________ Ragland, who died before 1943. No children.
