Pine Bluff Commercial Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas Thursday, July 2, 1987 Sherman Hope Malvern, AR Sherman Hope, 76, of Prattsville, a retired farmer and timber contractor, died Tuesday at Hot Spring County Memorial hospital here. He was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church here. Survivors include his wife, Edith Holiman Hope; a son, Eddie Hope of Prattsville; a sister, Elnora Venable of Rolla, Missouri; and two grandchildren. His funeral was to be at 10 a.m. today at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Veron Bass and the Rev. J. P. Jonson officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. Pallbearers will be Ode Camp, Alvin Hardin, David Bean, David Paxton and Brian Harrington.
