Bio

"Funeral for James Charles Stanislaw, 58, of Houston and formerly of Cameron, was at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Louis Pavlicek officiating. Burial was in St. Monica Cemetery in Cameron. Mr. Stanislaw died Thursday in a Houston nursing home after a long illness. A veteran of World War II, he was a native of Cameron. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mavis Stanislaw of Houston, one son; one daughter; three brothers, John Stanislaw of Bryan and Bobby Stanislaw and Harold Stanislaw, both of Cameron and six grandchildren."
