"Carol A. Vyhlidal, 59, of North Bend was found Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at her home in North Bend. Carol was born Feb. 20, 1955, in Fremont to Emil J. and Hattie (Fencl) Vyhlidal. Carol lived her entire life in North Bend, attending grade school there and graduating from North Bend Central High School. She spent many years working in health care facilities in the surrounding areas. Her most recent employer had been Birchwood Manor in North Bend. She also spent many years providing care to her elderly stepmother. She enjoyed her family and especially the young children in her neighborhood. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend. She is survived by her twin brother, Daryl (and wife, Cindy) Vyhlidal; brothers, Ron (and wife, Diane) Vyhlidal and Rich (and wife, Dianne) Vyhlidal, all of Fremont, and Jerry (and wife, Susan) Vyhlidal of Columbus; sister, Marilyn (and husband, Pat) Parolek of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Marie Vyhlidal of Lawton, Okla.; nieces, Angie Chale, Brigette Willis, April Hampl, Tiffany Swanson, Stephanie Vyhlidal, and Mary Von Seggern; nephews, Terry Vyhlidal, Michael Vyhlidal, Chad Vyhlidal, Jason Vyhlidal, Jeremy Parolek, Matthew Parolek, Paul Von Seggern, Aaron Von Seggern, and Derek Vyhlidal; 11 great-nieces and eight great-nephews; several aunts and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Hattie; stepmother, Beatrice Vyhlidal; brother, Emil R. Vyhlidal; nephew, Troy Vyhlidal; and a great-niece. The memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. The Rev. Scott Jensen of Fremont Health Medical Center will officiate. Memorial visitation and book signing with family present will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in North Bend. Memorials may be directed to family choice." Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont, Nebraska, Monday, November 10, 2014.
