KEARNEY — James L. Bean, 74, of Overton died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. Services will be later. O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 24, 1940, in Callaway. He is survived by his daughter, Christa Cervantes and her husband, Kennelly, of Kentucky; son, Joel Bean and his wife, Stacy, of Kearney; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
