OBITUARY: Mildred B. Huppert, 83 Prescott - Mildred Barbara Huppert of Prescott died on Tuesday, December 10, 1996 at United Hospital in St. Paul. She was 83. She was born on October 17, 1913 in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the daughter of Victor and Mary Holmquist. She was married to Felix Huppert in 1933; he died in 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prescott. Survivors include three sons, James (Charlotte) Huppert, Ernest (Colleen) Huppert and Roman (Marcia) Huppert, all of Prescott; one daughter, Vivienne Hoikka of Prescott; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford Holmquist of Ellsworth and Ernie Holmquist of Waseca, Minnesota; three sisters, Irene Bennett, Marie Dusek, both of River Falls and Betty Miller of Minneapolis. Preceding in her death were her husband, one son, one great-grandson, six brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 12 from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prescott with Father Thomas Mannion officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Prescott. Winberg-McLaughlin Funeral Home handled arrangements.
