Fort Bend Herald, October 21, 2005: Ella Ann Luedeke Scharnberg died Oct. 19, 2005 in Alvin. She was born in Hallettesville Oct. 5, 1914, to Adolf Gustav Luedeke and Lilly Annie Mueller Leudeke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Ella is survived by two sisters: Hilda Blahuta and Lillian Prebilsky; brother, Eddie Luedeke; three children, Bob and wife, Henri, Don and wife, Biddy, and Norma and husband, Edmond. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Eugene Perrard, Eddie Scharnberg, Alan Scharnberg, Ron Scharnberg, David Luedeke and Jesus Bengoechea. Honorary pallbearers are Dwight Luedeke and Glen Blahuta. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to a favorite charity of choice in Ella's name. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. 281-341-8800.
