Fern Lucille Burton, 84, of Port Lavaca passed away November 1, 2014. She was born September 2, 1930 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Isom Jackson and Katie Hogan. She was a retired Dispatcher with the Port Lavaca Police Dept. and member of Port Lavaca Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman O. Burton; sister, Nola Mae Steen and parents. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Gardens with Shan Jackson officiating. Published by Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home.
