TATE, ANNIE RUTH - age 82, of Knoxville, died Monday, January 11, 1999, at Hillcrest West Nursing Home. Member of Estill Springs United Methodist Church. Postmaster of Estill Springs Post Office. Widow of Robert Ray Tate. Preceded in death by: parents, Ollie Blanton Wise and Evelyn Clark Wise. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Robert M. and Rita Tate, Knoxville, and James A. and Frances Tate, Estill Springs, Tenn.; four grandchildren; sister, Marene Gugelman, Nashville; brother, Ollice B. Wise, Winchester. Funeral service 3 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 1999, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Dr. Gill Smith officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m., CDT Friday, January 15, 1999, at Franklin County Memorial Gardens, Winchester, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Group, 2200 West Main St., Suite A230, Durham, NC 27705.
