Bio

Evalena Grissom Sowers b 02-06-1910 died 12-15-2002 at Muncie Health Care in Muncie Indiana. She was born in Knob Lick, Kentucky the daughter of Melvin and Florence Railey Grissom. She was preceeded in death by her husband Willie Taylor Sowers in 1947, a grandson Christopher in 1963, a g-daughter, Connie, in 1973, and son Wade Lee Sowers in 2000. Surviving are three sons, Willie T. , Howard D. , and Ron all of Indiana. Evalena was buried next to her granddaughter Connie in the South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, Indiana.
