Dale R. Wilson, 63, of Ord passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at his home in Ord. Mr. Wilson’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014, the Ord First United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott Hausrath officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ord City Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Dale Ray Wilson was born October 10, 1951, at Ord, Nebraska to George and Elsie (Nelsen) Wilson. He was raised on a farm near Elyria and received his education at Fairplay District #26 and graduated from Ord High School in 1969. Dale continued his education at Universal Trade School in Omaha. While in Omaha he was employed for A-1 Forklift. In 1970, Dale married Angela Burson at Ord, Nebraska. To this union four children were born, Jarrod, Jessica, Justina and Jeremy. In 1971, Dale returned to Ord and worked as a mechanic at Todsen Chevrolet for seven years. He then began his own business, Wilson Auto Repair. He operated the repair shop for 30 years. Dale and Corina Clayton were united in marriage on July 27, 1985. The couple made their home in Ord and had three sons, Seth, Zachary and Preston. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Corina of Ord; five sons, Jarrod and his wife, Deb, Jeremy and his partner, Paula Brokke, Seth and his partner, Melissa Bucher, Zachary and his partner, Amanda Summers, and Preston and his partner, Elizabeth Burr all of Ord; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica and Mitchell Allemang of Lincoln and Justina and John Young of Ord; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley and Keith Manchester, Gloria “June” and Joe Paprocki, and his twin sister, Sharlene Skinner all of Ord; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Lowther of Malmo, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Ed Skinner; and two fathers-in-law, Clarence Clayton and Steve Lowther.
