Bio

Bohumil stated he was born in Caslov, Bohemia on his World War I Draft Card. He immigrated to the U.S. with his parents and three siblings, arriving in New York on 24 May 1911 aboard the ship "Kronprinzessin Cecilie". The family was headed to Chicago but soon settled in Butler county, NE, on a farm near Brainard. Bohumil married Julia Chermak in Butler county, NE around 1919. They farmed in Butler county, NE until the late 1930's when they moved to a farm near Geneva, MN. Bohumil and Julia had a son, John.
