Bio
Sue Mikkelsen, 73, of Fullerton, Nebraska, died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Golden Living Center of Fullerton. Private family services will be held. Sue was born on July 2, 1941, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Andrew and Mary (Welch) Mikkelsen. Sue was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Shell Creek. She attended Kramer High School for three years and graduated from Bellwood High School in 1959. Sue worked for four years at Dale Electronics and lived in Schuyler for 20 years. She was an avid reader and loved to go to the library. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs and she enjoyed going fishing, riding her bike, and watching Nebraska football. Sue enjoyed the company of the elderly and took great pride in the fact that she provided school clothes and Christmas presents for her younger siblings. Sue is survived by: Sister: Joan Mimick of Columbus, NE Brother: Don Mikkelsen of Omaha, NE Brother: Marshal Mikkelsen of Columbus, NE Sister: Rita (Bill) Ingold of Columbus, NE Brother: Hart (Jeanette) Mikkelsen of Columbus, NE Many nieces and nephews Sue was preceded in death by: Parents: Andrew and Mary Mikkelsen Brothers: James, Duane, and Nelson Mikkelsen
