Bio
Doc was the 7th of 10 children of George and Martha Baker Cole. He married Candace Rebecca Adams on April 27, 1878 in Westerville, Decatur Co, IA. They had 9 children including Susie Dean [orphaned child of Silas Dean and Armina Mickael;Susie married Walter David Boles]. Their children were an infant son[died 1879], Bertha Nellie[married William Franklin Burchett], Minnie Adaline[married Curtis Elwood Adams], James Alvice[married Minnie Armina Foland], Francis Wesley "Frank"[married Flora Mabel Fox], Esther Merle[married John L. Stark], Kathryn Marie[married Floyd Edward Jones] and Bessie Lorene[married John Benjamin Cross].
