Daughter of Leonard Augustus Wolfe and Elizabeth Snyder Wolfe. She was the 4th of 6 children. She married Chester Whipple Gaumer on March 8, 1911 in Clarke Co, IA. They had 4 children: Dorothy Mae, Orville Franklin, Ruby Maxine Gaumer Franck and Loren Merton Gaumer.
