Billy was red headed with a red beard Waco Tribune Herald August 29, 1925 Death Early Today W. J. Johnson, Texan for Period 50 Years W.L. Johnson, 85 years old, died this morning at 1 o'clock at his home 1608 Bagby street. He had been in ill health for some time. The funeral was to take place this afternoon at 3 from Puckett's undertaking palors, interment to be made in Park Lawn cemetery. Born in Georgia, Mr. Johnson had been living in Texas for about 50 years, most of that time a resident of Falls County. He moved to Waco 12 Years ago. Mr. Johnson was well known throughout McLennan and Falls Counties, and highly esteemed by many friends. He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters, J.J. Henry and D.J. Johnson, Waco; New Johnson, Louisiana; Mrs. Ida Hickenbotham, Chilton, and Mrs. W.T. Hardy, Satin.
