Her Obit appeared in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Sunday, May 5, 1991. It reported that "Ella Emily Cooper, a retired assistant cashier for the First State Bank of Granger, died Friday at a hospital in Fort Worth. She was 81." "Mrs. Cooper was born in Granger and had lived in Fort Worth for 41 years. She was a Presbyterian." Survivors: Husband, Hardage Cooper of Fort Worth; a daughter and son; a brother and sister; and 4 grandchildren.
