Bridget Meuret - Burwell Mrs. Meuret died Sunday evening at the Burwell Community Hospital after a year of failing health. She was born Feb. 14, 1885, at Plankinton, S.D., to John and Bridget McHugh Boyle. On July 2, 1907, she married Thomas H. Meuret at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell. Following their marriage they spent several years in Arizon, returning to Burwell in 1910 where he farmed. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Loretta) Horwarth of Stamford, Mrs. Bud (Ellen) Darrah of Grandby, Colo., and Mrs. Art (Cecelia) Kaiser of Hardin, Mont.; three sons, Charles of Palisade, Colo., Thomas of Ord and James of Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Mrs. Katie Meuret of Brunswick; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three children, three brothers and nine sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Bridget Meuret, 87, of Burwell, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell with the Rev. Hubert Spanel offering the mass of the Resurrection. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery at Burwell. Fleming Funeral Home in Burwell.
