Mary Elizabeth Grothues, entered into eternal reward on September 12, 2014. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bernard Henry Grothues, Sr. and grandsons Douglas Joseph Grothues and Allen Clarence Ludwig, Jr. She is survived by her children Mary Jo Ludwig (Allen), Ben H. Grothues, Jr. (Linda), Patricia Gossmann (Robert), Jerome Grothues (Tammy) and Jeff Grothues (Linda); grandchildren, Amy (Kevin), Theresa (Sergio), Beth (Rick), Michael, Christa, Jennifer, Ross, Joshua, and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Megan and Sarah. Rosary will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Private Burial. Mary Elizabeth Schoenborn married Bernard Henry Grothues on October 14, 1940 in Bexar County, Texas.
