Warren D. "Chub" Conn, 69, Confluence, died Dec. 16, 2003, in Somerset Hospital. He was born July 22, 1934, in Draketown, a son of the late Lester and Mae (Shroyer) Conn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Alvin and Tommy, and a sister Jacqueline Rae. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Dwire) Conn; sons Keith of Confluence, and Kerry of Boswell; and daughters Jacqueline Coughenour and Sharon Kimmel, both of Confluence; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; also brothers Jacob of Lorain, Ohio, Bernon "Bun" of Somerset; and sisters Pearl Oakman, Laura Conn, Dana Troup, all of Somerset, Melda Wilson of Confluence and Sandra Kay Fabin of Vermillion, Ohio. He was U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250 and a self-employed business man for 31 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Peter Foreman officiating.
