Fort Bend Herald, September 14, 2014: Beatrice M. Ferro, 89, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2014 in Missouri City. She was born March 16, 1925 in Rosenberg to Staches and Otylie (Fisher) Vacek. Beatrice was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Charles T. Ferro; 2 daughters, Charlene Nye, and Diane Williams and husband, Jim; a brother, James J. Vacek and wife, Betty; 2 grandchildren, Dalene Reid and Colene Horton; 2 great-grandchildren, Avery and Peyton Reid. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 15, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8 P.M., with a rosary at 7 P.M., in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home.
