"After an illness of but a few hours, Dorothy Ruth, the 5 weeks old daughter of Mr and Mrs J. F. Lewis living 6 miles northeast of Leon, Iowa passed away last Saturday. Funeral services from the home were conducted by Rev G.J. Fansher at 3pm SUnday. Many friends gathered to express sympathy to the bereaved ones. Burial was at the Johnson Cemetery."
