Bio

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Methodist church for James H. Bone, 91, who died last week. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. David Scott officiated. James Bone was born July 9, 1857, and died Dec. 15, 1948, aged 91 years, five months, six days. He married Alice L. Zimmerman at his home in McArthur, Ore., in 1872. To this union four children were born: two daughters, Grace and May; one son, Clifford, and a son who died in 1905. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace Neilson of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. May Henderson of Portland, Ore.; a son Clifford of Arnold; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Blayer in Wisconsin and Mrs. Lila Kilpatrick of Loup City; and other relatives. --Courtesy of The Sherman County Times, Dec. 23, 1948-- Contributor: Diane (47528261) View Memorial
