PVT - Co. D, 9th Tn. Cav. - Enlisted; at the age of 23 on Oct. 8, 1863 (by consolidation from the 11th TN Cav). Mustered out on Sept. 11, 1865. Listed from the book, "Sacred to the Memory," Part II, Vol. II It is possible that this grave is in the Dave Murrell Family Cemetery.
