Oct. 2, 1954 "A. W. JACKSON'S FUNERAL RITES SCHEDULED TODAYBELTON, Oct. 2 --- Funeral services for A. W. (Dub) Jackson, 75, who died at 5:30 a. m. Saturday after an extended illness, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Heartfield's chapel with Rev James Basden, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Reshaven cemetery.Mr. Jackson was born in Temple, Tex Jan. 31, 1879, the son of John and Ann Eliza Jackson, pioneer settlers of Bell County. He lived in Temple most of his life, having moved to Belton about two years ago.Pallbearers are W. O. Newton, Ed Franklin, Dave Jennings, Gordon Sutcliff, all of Belton; O. B. Carroll of Temple and Jim Bates of Irving.Surviving are his wife; two sons, J. D. Jackson of Marble Falls and J. T. jackson of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Chris Nelson Jr. of Corrigan and Mrs. Owen P. Carpenter of Belton; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A brother W. H.
