Dinah Pennington Greene, 68, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014. Graveside service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood. Mrs. Greene was born June 10, 1946, in Fort Worth. She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1964. Mrs. Greene worked at Lockheed Martin for several years. She married Kenneth Greene on July 6, 1976. He was the love of her life. They traveled several places after their retirement. They lived in Saginaw for several years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, K.D. Greene; father, Leonard Pennington, in 2003; and her beloved boxer, Jake. Survivors: Son, Kenneth Greene and wife, Mary, of Lewisville; daughter, Deanna Nelson of Fort Worth; stepdaughter, Cheryl Shelling of Utica, N.Y.; mother, Jean Pennington of Springtown; sisters, Penny Hart and husband, Bruce, of Aztec, N.M., and Linda Long of Springtown; brothers, Len Pennington and wife, Robin, Lee Pennington and wife, Darlene, and Chris Pennington and wife, Jennifer, all of Springtown; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many loving friends and extended family.
