Bio

RAYMOND ROBERT CIHAL April 9, 1934 - August 13, 2014 Age 80 passed away suddenly 8-13-14. He proudly served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. Ray was in many aspects of the construction industry and was looked up to by many. He was a life time member of the VFW Post 9223 and participated in many activities there. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Erma, his parents Marie (Cerny) and Stanley, his step children Jeanie and David. Survived by his siblings Mildred (Lanik), Stanley, Jr (Marylou), Joseph (Gladys); children Donna (David), Deborah, and Russell (Donna); stepchildren Deanne, Mike, Connie, Joni and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held August 26 at 10AM. Interment and Reception to follow. Pierce Brothers Crestlawn, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. Memorial Mass August 30th at 10AM Saint Mary's, 17360 N 3rd St, Davey, NE 68336. Published in Press-Enterprise on Aug. 24, 2014.
