Bio

Elizabeth May Saddoris was born March 15, 1878 in Clarke County and departed this life February 27, 1972 at the age of 93 years, 11 months and 17 days. On March 5, 1897 she was united in marriage to Pearl Clay Saddoris in Clarke County and to this union 12 children were born. They made their home in Clarke County. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church and also a 50 year member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl; her parents, Hiram and Matilda Twombley; three sisters, Lydia, and twin sisters, Ella and Alice, two brothers, Dan and her twin brother, Faye; two daughters, Henrietta and Rhoda; two daughters-in-law,Nellie and Icle; two sons-in-law, Albert McNichols and Earl Price; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
